WHAT: CGS is bringing some of the world's greatest gamers to the E for All Expo in Los Angeles next week for four action-packed days. CGS superstars and San Francisco OPTX players Vanessa Arteaga, the top female gamer on the planet and international gaming celebrity Alessandro "Stermy" Avallone will join forces with official CGS spokesperson and the most successful gamer in history Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel to promote the first and only worldwide professional gaming league at this hallmark industry event.
CGS Activities at the E for All Expo will include:

Vanessa Arteaga became the CGS' very first athlete when she was selected by the San Francisco OPTX as first pick in the Region 1 draft last summer. Known for her unmatched dominance in Dead or Alive 4, Arteaga is the most acclaimed female gamer in the world.
About Alessandro "stermy" Avallone
Alessandro "stermy" Avallone began his gaming career in 2001 when he started training for the World Cyber Games Italian Qualifier. One year later, at age 15, stermy won the qualifier and the chance to compete at the World Cyber Games Finals in Korea, making him one of the youngest players to play in the World Cyber Games.
Stermy played Quake III until 2004, demonstrating remarkable skills and earning a reputation as one of the top players in Europe. He then started playing PainkilleR, finishing 2nd in the Electronic Sports World Cup in France, and pocketing $70,000 for a 3rd place finish at the 2005 CPL Grand finals in New York City, confirming him as one of the top PainkilleR players in the world. Stermy won the inaugural World Series of Video Games in Louisville in June, 2006.
Showing versatility, Alessandro was the first player chosen to play FIFA at the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) initial draft and is now competing for the San Francisco Optx team.
About Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel
Johnathan became the world's first full time professional video gamer in 1999 after accepting an invitation to represent the USA at an international tournament in Stockholm, where he went undefeated with a perfect performance, winning all 18 maps. He has continued to dominate competitions all over the world, competing on 6 continents during his 8-year professional career, including a Gold Medal finish for the USA at the 2000 World Cyber Games in Seoul, Korea.
Winning the 2005 CPL World Tour Finals in New York City secured his twelfth Major Title, accomplished while competing in 5 different games - an unprecedented achievement. His New York City victory earned him $150,000 and brought his 2005 total winnings to $231,000. During his competitive gaming career Fatal1ty has placed 1st in 65% of all the competitions he has entered and top 3 in 90% of them.
In December 2006, Johnathan joined forces with Championship Gaming Series (CGS) as exclusive on-air analyst, global spokesperson and gaming ambassador to help establish competitive video gaming as a 21st century sport.
