Kalypso Media today release the profile of their dashing hero Ambrosius, the true star of Kalypso Media’s upcoming point & click adventure Ceville.

Born the sheltered son of nobleman, Ambrosius grew up in Castle Winterfall in the far North. Even as a child, he was absolutely certain that he would one day be a hero of great renown. Day after day he forced himself to endure long hours in the saddle of his rocking horse and practiced speeches as lengthy as they were boastful for the benefit of his parents and their lucky visitors. In between he relentlessly perfected his swordplay against the most expensive marble statues the castle had to offer. Ah the joys of parenthood…

His parents soon realized: the boy had to go, and as far away as possible! The very next day, little Ambrosius found himself bundled off to his future home: the southernmost boarding school for future heroes and other unbearable children.

The school taught the little would-be hero everything he had always wanted to know, but probably didn’t really need to know. His rigorous and highly specialized hero training took 20 years, with Ambrosius specializing in courses such as "Beginning and Advanced Morning Baths", "Hourly Hair Care", "Beauty Sleep - Doing It Right" and "Self-Admiration 101 - What Mirrors Are There For". He did of course manage to squeeze in some more traditional (and boring!) studies in the remaining 1 hour of study time a week. After all he didn’t want to overdo things… As a result of little Ambrosius’ exceptional abilities 5 teachers needed to resign due to nervous collapse and a further two of his teachers sort solace in alcoholism. Ambrosius really was a special child..

Upon completion of his training, the young hero experienced a number of amazing adventures which we will not expand on at this point… But a short while ago an honest-looking soul named Basilius told him of the foul deeds performed by a certain Ceville. It goes without saying that the arroga ... pardon me, heroic paladin immediately set out to put this tyrannical despot in his place...
