Centroid/Tiga sign-up
Motion capture specialist joins UK developer body.
Tiga is delighted to welcome Centroid as one of their affiliate members. Centroid is celebrating 12 years of providing motion capture and associated services to the video game, film special effects and television industry. There is an impressive list of games Centroid have created mocap for, including Rock Band and Prince Caspian.
This year saw the opening of their new purpose built stage which is the largest in Europe, based at Pinewood Studios. The first project the new building accommodated was Headcases an ITV satirical animation show based on current affairs, working with a variety of animated caricatures from Victoria Beckham to Dame Judy Dench.
Mike Stilgoe, Centroid’s Director of Operations, said:
