cdv Software Entertainment AG Brings New Sales Leadership on Board
Successful company re-organization continues with new strategic hire
Bruchsal, Germany, November 21, 2007 - cdv Software Entertainment AG today announced that Thomas Huber has recently joined the cdv AG management team as Sales Director for the Germany-Austria-Switzerland (GAS/DACH) market. Mr. Huber is one of the most experienced sales specialists in the German-language gaming industry, having held senior sales positions for the past two decades. Most recently, he spent 15 years as the Sales Director for Atari Germany.
In his new role at cdv AG, Mr. Huber will be tasked first and foremost with building and expanding the company's service spectrum as a full-service provider in Europe. This includes a focus on development of Eastern European markets - a region in which cdv AG has already invested heavily, acquiring well-established and thriving publisher/distributor seven_m earlier this year. Mr. Huber has significant experience in this growth market territory, and will further round out the company's expertise and relationships there.
"What particularly appeals to me is the variety which cdv's new, innovative business model offers customers: modular, tailored services - with a strong focus on sales. This calls for the full spectrum of sales expertise,' said Huber, looking forward to the challenges of his new position.
"Gaining Thomas Huber as Sales Director was a real stroke of luck for cdv," says Christian Gloe, newly-appointed CEO of cdv Software Entertainment AG. "His experience and expertise are valuable capital that we will use profitably. The new cdv, with its broad portfolio and international orientation, offers the ideal opportunities for that."
