cdv Expanding Service Offerings to Game Developers
International firm reaching out to developers and business partners during E3 2007
cdv Software Entertainment USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of publicly traded cdv Software Entertainment AG, today announced that it will significantly expand its marketing, distribution and publishing services as part of a company-wide shift in global strategy. Following cdv Software Entertainment AG's successful restructuring efforts - which included the recent acquisition of three European-based firms active in the video game industry, and the just-announced hiring of a new Chief Financial Officer in Germany - the company and its subsidiaries are now able to offer a broad suite of services to industry partners in North America and Europe with primary focus on Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
"cdv Software Entertainment has already established itself as a leading publisher of third-party titles in North America and a key services provider and distributor in Germany, Switzerland and Austria," said Mario Kroll, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for cdv Software Entertainment USA. "Now, with our new leadership's vision, the reach of our newly acquired subsidiaries and the financial backing from our investors, we have the means and strategy to emerge as global video game industry service provider offering true end-to-end solutions to our current and future partners."
As part of this expansion, there will be opportunities to meet with key management from cdv Software Entertainment USA and cdv Software Entertainment AG to discuss North American publishing and European distribution opportunities. cdv Software Entertainment AG's company strategist and shareholder spokesperson, Mr. Jens Roehrborn, will also be available to meet with journalists, developers, publishers and other potential business partners to discuss cdv's expanded offerings and future strategic vision. Meetings will be held during the 2007 E3 Media & Business Summit in Santa Monica, California from July 11 to 13. Those interested in meeting with Mr. Roehrborn or representatives of cdv Software Entertainment's management team should contact Mario Kroll, mario.kroll@cdvus.com, or Ted Brockwood, ted@calico-media.com.
