CCP Games exec added to GameHorizon event
Biz dev boss of EVE Online maker to discuss new business models for console gaming
Yohei Ishii, senior director of business development at CCP Games, is set to deliver a talk at the GameHorizon event entitled "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust: Reincarnation of the console games model".
The speech intends to discuss the rise of new business models, platforms and emergent gameplay in home console games. Ishii will reference his own attempts to monetise CCP Games' operations and work with both economists and development teams.
"We are very pleased to have Yohei coming to speak. There is a lot we can learn from his experience at CCP, a company who have achieved both critical and industry acclaim for their groundbreaking work," said conference director Carri Cunliffe.
The GameHorizon event is due to take place in Newcastle from June 29-30, with further information available at the official website.
