DUBLIN, IRELAND – September 23st, 2009 – Gala Networks Europe Ltd., a leading free-to-play online games publisher in Europe, and Chinese games developer Suzhou Snail Electronic Co. Ltd. (Snail Game), are happy to announce a partnership that will see two of their most popular games launched in the European market. The first title will be the strategy game Castle of Heroes, available in English, French, German and Polish on the gPotato.eu games portal. In addition to this, details on a second title will be announced in the coming months.

Castle of Heroes is an extensive strategy game that is playable for free through a web browser. Players will be able to choose from four different races and build up their kingdom in a fantasy world. The game combines the best elements of management, role-playing and strategy games and offers all round entertainment for players of all levels. With high quality graphics delivered through a web browser, Castle of Heroes will allow strategy fans to play anywhere they are with access to a browser, with no download nor subscription.

In addition to Castle of Heroes, Gala Networks Europe is also to announce a second project from Snail Game that will be available in 2010. Currently going by the working title “Project 9”, this client-based MMORPG takes place in ancient China. Thanks to an ultra-dynamic combat system based on a variety of martial arts, players will be able to experience the real power of a kung-fu master with exciting adventures in a beautiful 3D world with vibrant, high quality graphics and gameplay.

Castle of Heroes will be available at the end of 2009 in English, French, German and Polish. “Project 9” will be launched in 2010, and both games will be available free and completely localized through the www.gPotato.eu portal.
