Indie developer GLPeas tentatively presents Carcophony, a real-time traffic management puzzle game where the player controls the traffic lights in an environment of an ever increasing pace of traffic. Various twists and turns add to the fun and challenging experience. Player can unlock 5 maps, different in difficulty and strategy, and complete all twelve challenges - "license points" - to become a Carcophony expert.
The player can compete with friends and globally through a global high score system. High score tables are available per-map allowing the player to compete on their favourite map. Note that global high score tables are only available to Xbox Live Gold account players.
Carcophony supports local multiplayer cooperative and competitive modes. The competitive "last man standing" mode introduces "hazards" that players can throw at their opponent to disrupt traffic on their road system. Up to four players can participate in two teams in a party like competitive experience.
Carcophony is currently available from the XBOX Marketplace for 400 MSP (Microsoft Points).
