Capcom secures NOM sequel for Japan
As publisher looks to expand in overseas markets
Capcom has revealed that it has acquired the exclusive distribution rights to NOM 2 in Japan.
The original game has seen two million downloads in the developers' South Korean market, and was distributed in Europe by Disney-owned Living Mobile.
Capcom is currently looking to expand its presence outside of Japan, with president Kenzo Tsujimoto, stating that, "mutual shareholding in, business partnerships with, or acquisition of companies that create content popular around the world is something Capcom is actively pursuing".
In a recent meeting with shareholders Capcom also reiterated it's desire to publish its properties across multiple formats, from home consoles to movies and mobile games.
