Capcom launches Super Puzzle Fighter 2
Featuring multiplayer battles via cellular networks
Capcom Interactive has released Super Puzzle Fighter 2: Network Battle, a new game for US mobile phones which allows players to go head-to-head via their cellular network.
Based on the arcade and console classic, SPF2 sees players battling it out in three 90 second matches. By moving pairs of gems into strategic combinations, they are removed from one player's screen and passed over to their opponent. If the gems reach the top of the screen, it's a knockout - and the player with the least number of knockouts wins the match.
Players can choose from eight different characters from the Street Fighter and Darkstalkers series. Up to two opponents can compete in network battles, and an online leaderboard allows players to see how their skills match up.
Super Fighter 2: Network Battle is now available across the US.
