Following the announcement yesterday of the return of perhaps its best-loved franchise, Street Fighter, Capcom has announced a handful of new IP titles and ports of existing software.
At its recent Gamers Day in London, the Japanese publisher revealed a teaser trailer for Street Fighter IV but stated that development had only just begun, the release was more than a year away and no platforms were yet decided.
New IP Dark Void was also officially announced, an action title developed by Crimson Skies studio Airtight Games and co-founder Ed Fries, but again Capcom wasn't ready to reveal platforms.
As part of the company's multiformat strategy, critically acclaimed PS2 title Okami will be coming to the Nintendo Wii, while Xbox 360 hit Lost Planet will arrive on PlayStation 3 early next year.
The publisher also revealed Talisman for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, based on the popular Games Workshop board game, which joins Rocketmen, Commando 3 and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in the company's portfolio of forthcoming downloadable games.
The day was also an opportunity for the press to get a demonstration of the recently announced Bionic Commando, hands-on experience of Capcom's first sports title We Love Golf, blockbuster Devil May Cry 4, Wii titles Zack and Wiki and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and DS exclusive Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice.
