Warner/Aardman TV animation to spawn Facebook and mobile games following deal between VOOZCLUB and Samsung.
Seoul, Korea – Apr. 12th, 2010 - VOOZCLUB and Samsung Electronics signed a co-development and licensing contract for CANIMALS World. Their respective core business infrastructure will complement each other fueling the decision to collaborate in the global content market.
VOOZCLUB was newly founded in 2009 by Calvin Kim, who is a co-creator of PUCCA which has in the last decade become global success. At ‘Mipcom Junior 2009’ the VOOZCLUB created CANIMALS ranked second in screening popularity out of 43,250 participating animations.
VOOZCLUB has already made a contract with Warner Bros from South America and currently co-produces CANIMALS TV animation with BRB International from Spain (a major player in the Licensing industry) and Aardman famous for Wallace and Gromit from the UK (one of the world leading production companies in animation production) and the animation will set to air in the first half of next year.
Early next year, VOOZCLUB and Samsung will embark on launching a CANIMALS SNS web game on Facebook and plans to launch mobile games into the global market.
Through this alliance, VOOZCLUB looks forward to entering the multi-content global market actively through Samsung Electronics, while Samsung Electronics expects to raise the level of competitiveness in the content market, offering game content compatible to various electronic devices.
