Cammie Dunaway to leave Nintendo next month
Sales and marketing vice president taking position outside of industry
Nintendo's sales and marketing vice president, Cammie Dunaway, will be leaving Nintendo and the games industry on October 1.
The move ends a three year career at the company, which she joined as Reggie Fils-Aime's successor in 2007 after his promotion to Nintendo of America president and CEO. Before joining Nintendo, Dunaway served as the sales and marketing VP for Yahoo! for four years.
"I'm thankful for my time with Nintendo and proud of our team's accomplishments in growing the Nintendo audience, I look forward to watching the continued growth of the Nintendo brand in the years ahead," said Dunaway.
"We appreciate Cammie's contributions to Nintendo and the role she played in bringing the Wii and Nintendo DS experiences to millions of people. Her team and the rest of Nintendo of America remain focused on our goal of maintaining the incredible momentum Nintendo enjoys heading into the busy holiday season," said Reggie Fils-Aime in an accompanying statement.
