Call of Duty: World at War

Ten million video downloads chalked up at GameTrailers.

Santa Monica, Calif. - Mar. 16, 2009 - GameTrailers.com (GT), the premier provider of video for gamers and a division of Viacom Inc.’s (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B) MTV Networks Entertainment Group, announced today that Treyarch’s first-person action game, Call of Duty®: World at War , published by Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), has won the coveted GT Diamond Award.  From facing Imperial Japanese Banzai charges and guerilla tactics in the Pacific to beating back Nazi troops to the steps of Berlin, players fight alongside memorable characters like Sergeant Roebuck and Sergeant Reznov.

As Treyarch gears up to launch the first downloadable content for Call of Duty: World at War on March 19, the GameTrailers community continues to enjoy videos on the site.  Using its StreamStats tool, GameTrailers calculated that Call of Duty: World at War had reached ten million downloads, earning the GameTrailers Diamond Award.
