Call of Duty: World at War completes half year in UK top 10

Activision title clocks up 26 consecutive weeks in best-sellers chart

Activision's Call of Duty: World at War has spent half a year in the UK's top ten best-selling games chart.

The game was released on November 14 in the UK, and went on to take the number one spot in the charts and stay there for five consecutive weeks, narrowly missing out on the Christmas number one to EA's FIFA 09.

Downloads of the games DLC content – Map Pack 1 – have topped two million over PSN and Xbox Live, with a new set of DLC due next month.
