London, UK – 3rd June 2010 – The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack is available to download today from 6.00pm UK / 7.00pm CET, releasing first on the Xbox LIVE ® online entertainment network. Today’s launch of the second map pack from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 follows the record-breaking release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package, which established new Xbox LIVE launch records with millions of gamers around the world joining the action in its opening days.
Developed by Infinity Ward, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ® 2 Resurgence Pack adds five additional multiplayer levels, including three all-new locations along with two updated classic locations from Call of Duty ® 4: Modern Warfare ® . The new map pack is published by Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), and available for download on Xbox LIVE ® Marketplace for the Xbox 360 ® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, for 1,200 Microsoft Points. To celebrate its release, Infinity Ward will host a Double XP weekend for Xbox LIVE gamers beginning 4th June.
