With immediate effect, the Leipzig Fair is calling for

contributions are wanted, picking up on the new trends in the

Mobile Entertainment, and examining these from different
angles. The need is for user reports, market insights and
overviews, trend reports and evaluations of new technologies.
Application papers and more detailed information on the Call
for Papers can be accessed at www.gcdc-germany.com.
This is now the fourth time that game developers, publishers
and academics from all over the world are expected at the
GCDC. Immediately after the GCDC on 24 August 2006, the GC
begins, Europe's benchmark fair for interactive
entertainment, infotainment and edutainment.
Springboard for student assistants at the GCDC
The interest of the organisers in attracting student
assistants shows that the GCDC can also be a springboard for
the younger generation. Any student who has organisational
talent, an interest in making contact with internationally
famous game developers and would like to find out at first
hand about the latest developments on the games sector,
should apply online on the GCDC homepage, keyword "Call for
