BXB LAN 2005

Leicester, 1st Septmber 2005: Britxbox.co.uk's annual LAN event is set to take place on October 1st 2005, at Loughborough University and will give visitors the chance to prove their skills on new titles and win an Xbox 360!

BXB LAN 2005 will be the only LAN event held this year and will be taking place at Loughborough University, Loughborough, Leicestershire on Saturday October 1st. The doors will open at 10am and competitions will begin at 1pm.

BXB LAN 2005 is a unique event aimed at adults and are not suitable for people under the age of 18. There will also be a newly refurbished snack shop and bar available for guests to the LAN events to take a break from the gaming action.

Visitors to LAN 2005 now have two options on how to buy your tickets for the event. You can either do the entire thing online using BXB's booking system and pay by PayPal or Personal Cheque or you can register online and then pay on the day.

Ticket Prices:

Standard Ticket - £14 (With a £4 discount if you register online and bring a television)

On the Door - £18 (Without registering beforehand)

Michael Rossell, Editor and LAN Manager for Britxbox.co.uk said: "We've decided to only hold one LAN event this year which will allow us to focus the number of visitors to each event and offer more to each person who comes along.

"You can expect all the usual shenanigans including tons of prizes for the our Tournament winners plus the facilities at Loughborough University have been refurbished.

"As well as the chance to win an Xbox 360 and a bunch of Far Cry Instincts gear in our Single Player Tournament, you'll be able to team up with three friends and battle it out in our multiplayer tournament on titles like Rainbow Six: Lockdown, Far Cry Instincts, Project Gotham Racing 2 and Halo 2 to win even more!"
