Broken Sword: The Director's Cut
iPad version now available complete with spruced-up graphics and digital comic.
London, UK - May 26, 2010 - Revolution Software today announced that the iPad version of the multi-BAFTA nominated Broken Sword: The Director's Cut is now available from the App Store.
The iPad version boasts substantial graphical improvements, designed to make the most of the hardware's stunning 10-inch screen. The app also includes a significant bonus: a digital version of the Broken Sword comic, illustrated by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons. However, this lavish electronic comic - never issued digitally before - has to be earned by discovering six new hidden features buried within the game.
"This really is the definitive version," says Charles Cecil, managing director, Revolution Software. "Rather than rush the game out for the US launch, we have taken the time to get it just right, and with the higher resolution graphics, and the addition of the digital comic as a bonus feature, there's a lot of new content to enjoy. We are thrilled to be able to release the game to coincide with the European launch of the iPad."
