Brasil Game Show 2010

NC Games, Latin America's biggest games distributor, to attend November's event in Rio de Janeiro.

The inclusion of Brazil's main distributor ensures the presence of companies such as Activision, Capcom, Disney, Konami, LucasArts, Namco Bandai, Sega, Square-Enix, Take-Two, THQ, and Ubisoft, among others.

NC Games, the largest distributor of games in Latin America, will attend the Brazil Game Show held on November 20th and 21st at the Sulamérica Convention Center in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to offering a full line of accessories for video games and action figures (figures based on games), the company will announce major releases from the 30 publishers they officially represent throughout Brazil.

In a 500 square meter exhibit, gamers can experience the premiere titles and products from publishers like Activision, the world’s number one publisher, which will be featuring Guitar Hero and its extensions DJ Hero and Band Hero. Konami will also be represented showcasing their new Pro Evolution Soccer 2011. Ubisoft, named the fourth largest company in the business by Game Developer magazine. Capcom, owner of the classic Resident Evil and Marvel vs. Capcom will also have their products on display.

In 2009, the Brazil Game Show received 12,000 visitors. This year a crowd of 20,000 people is expected. The Show will occupy an area totaling nearly 8,000 square meters, triple the area used for the previous Show. There will be 60 exhibitors presenting the latest trends in the gaming market.

Tickets have already begun to be sold at the promotional price of just R$15, half-price, in advance. The discount applies to students, users of the Rio Metro card and also for all who donate 1 kg of non-perishable food for the local Ronald McDonald House, an institution which supports and cares for families with a child being treated for cancer. Anyone who buys the passport with tickets to the two-day event will receive an official BGS shirt.
