Yes you can buy it in the shops now.
Blast Entertainment, part of the Mastertronic Group, have today announced the release of Bob the Builder™: Festival of Fun on Nintendo DS.
Throughout 2007, Bob the Builder held 2nd position in the pre-school boys market, number 1 pre-school position on BBC2 in November and December and is consistently in the Top 20 licenses in the traditional toy market*. The popularity of Bob the Builder is evident: the official Bob the Builder website receives an average of over 25 million hits a month, and BBC's Bob Magazine is in its 8th year and still selling over 60,000 copies a month. Series 17 is due to air in 2009 where Bob and the Can-Do Crew will be produced in fantastic new CGI "Race to the Finish", and a brand new feature-length direct-to-DVD special went on sale 3rd November 2008. Bob's 10th anniversary will be kicking off in 2009, launching with the special 10th Annual and limited-edition products.
Entertaining tasks, intuitive controls and frustration-free gameplay all add up to a fun experience for young players. It's summer time in Sunflower Valley! The community project is going so well that Mr Bentley has suggested a festival to celebrate. There will be food and music and fun for everyone. Bob and the 'Can-Do Crew' are called to help clear the area and build the Dome for the event. Full use is made of the unique Nintendo DS input mechanisms, allowing the player to use the touch screen technology to control the game play and blow the leaves off the screen using the microphone! The player can tackle 10 exciting activities with Bob and all their favourite characters including Dizzy, Spud and Mr Sabatini from the pizza shop!
Kirsty Payne, PR and Marketing Manager at Mastertronic, commented: "Bob the Builder has a great brand heritage and is popular all over Europe with impressive sales across all of the branded toys, gifts, DVDs and goods available. Bob the Builder: Festival of Fun will join Blast's growing range of well known and well loved DS titles including Mr Bean, Postman Pat and the new for DS, Casper Scare School, and will also be coming soon to Nintendo Wii."
Bob the Builder™: Festival of Fun will be released on DS on 14th November 2008

About the Mastertronic Group Limited
Mastertronic is one of the best known electronic entertainment brands in Europe. It pioneered the European console market with its launch of the Sega Master System, invented the value retail sector and built an international development and publishing operation under the Virgin Mastertronic label. The brand was subsequently re-launched as The Mastertronic Group Limited in 2003 by founder Frank Herman, together with Andy Payne and Garry Williams. The Group now leads the European value publishing sector through its retail brands M.A.D. (Mastertronic Added Dimension), Sold Out (the UK's largest-selling budget operation, acquired by the Group in 2004) and PC Gamer Presents, a unique quality-assured brand in association with the leading games magazine publisher Future Publishing. The Group also offers, through its wholly owned subsidiary The Producers Limited (also acquired in 2004), a 'cradle to grave' total turnkey service for physical product, from marketing through packaging and warehousing, to retail and digital distribution. More recently in 2006, Blast Entertainment was launched as part of the group and has rapidly become a leading video game company exclusively aimed at the younger end of the kids market. Blast develops new content based on recognised family friendly licenses from films, TV, classic characters and toys and publishes on a variety of formats including PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and more recently, Nintendo Wii. In 2007 Just Flight, and its sister company Just Trains, the leading worldwide simulation specialists, were acquired by the group. Just Flight was established in 1995, and within three years became the world's largest publisher of flight simulation software outside of Microsoft, with a reputation for high quality products, published by genuine enthusiasts
