Oliver Twins to present talk on game development.
28 MARCH 2010 LEAMINGTON SPA, UK Blitz Games Studios co-founders, Philip and Andrew, are heading to BAFTA on the 4th April at 6.30 pm to give a talk about games development and their work on the unique and much-anticipated 'movie karaoke' title Yoostar 2. Released on Kinect and PS3, Yoostar 2 features iconic scenes from acclaimed films and TV series - including The Godfather, Rocky, The Wizard of Oz, Mad Men and Grease - and allows players to recreate classic performances, acting alongside or replacing Hollywood's biggest stars. Chaired by Guardian journalist, Keith Stuart, the event will also give the audience the chance to put their questions to the Oliver Twins.
As Blitz Games Studios reaches the end of its 20th anniversary year, Philip and Andrew will share insights on what they've learned in their long careers and where they think the industry's going next. There will also be hands-on time with several upcoming games from Blitz, which was responsible for more launch-year Kinect titles than any other independent studio.
Blitz will be giving away a selection of free tickets to the event on their Twitter feed later this week. Follow www.Twitter.com/@_BGS_ for updates.
Tickets are also available now on the BAFTA website: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&event=440987&interface=bafta
