Bethesda donates $1m to COVID-19 relief charities
Direct Relief, UNICEF, charities local to company's studios to receive donations
Bethesda has announced it will donate $1 million toward COVID-19 relief, split across several charities.
In its announcement today, the company shared that of the total, $500,000 will go toward COVID-19 relief charity Direct Relief, and $250,000 would go toward UNICEF.
The final $250,000 will be split across local COVID-19 relief efforts in the communities where Bethesda studios and offices are based, with recipients chosen by individual Bethesda and Zenimax studios.
Bethesda is far from the first games company to donate to COVID-19 relief, with other major companies including EA, Sony, and Rockstar setting aside either funds or portions of sales to support efforts.
