Benoit Boutte appointment

Former Vivendi Games chap to manage the THQ offices in France, Benelux, Spain and Italy.

PARIS, FRANCE. – 22nd March 2010 – THQ Inc. has announced the appointment of industry veteran Benoit Boutte to the position of Vice President, Southern European publishing.

In his new position Boutte will be charged with managing the THQ offices in France, Benelux, Spain and Italy whilst being based from the company’s Paris office.

Boutte commented, “Being part of such an established market leader with its impressive track record, its high class development studios and its high capacity of managing its own new IPs is a very exciting prospect and I am very much looking forward to building on THQ’s growing success across Southern Europe.“

After graduating from ISG in Paris and having a Master of Business and Administration in International Management from the San Francisco State University, Benoit Boutte made his debut in the Fashion and the Home video Industries before joining the games Industry in 1995. In 2000 he set up the Italian office of Vivendi Games and then moved on to join the Italian distributor Halifax as Managing Director in 2009.
