PopCap Games, the leading developer and publisher of casual games, today delivers four of the most requested player features to its popular Bejeweled 2 game for iPhone and iPod touch. These new features and enhancements have been added specifically based on user input, and demonstrate PopCap’s responsiveness and commitment to its ever-expanding customer base.

Already among the top 25 best-selling iPhone game titles, Bejeweled 2, including these enhancements, is available for purchase from the new Apple App Store for $9.99 at: www.itunes.com/appstore/ Existing Bejeweled 2 players can also update their game via a free download from the App Store.

Bejeweled 2 for iPhone now includes the following feature additions:

• Endless Mode: A popular game mode from PopCap’s Mac/PC version that allows gamers to enjoy limitless gameplay without ever hitting No More Moves.

• High Scores: A feature that allows players to retain their high scores for both Action and Classic mode. It also tracks the user rank and lifetime stats, including best lifetime score, overall number of gems collected, overall time played, and more.

• Music System: An option that enables players to listen to iPod music during gameplay. Controlled from the settings menu, players can choose to activate game sound effects, or turn them off.

• Battery and Clock Info Bar: An option that displays battery life data and time when the game is paused from the options or pause menu.

Nearly five million users have already played the free version of Bejeweled created specifically for the Safari browser on the iPhone, and hundreds of millions more have played the PC, online and console versions.
