Both BeefJack and Resolution were founded in 2008, and have since been delivering daily content to their respective readerships.

Resolution was created by Lewis Denby, who is now the editor of BeefJack.com. “I’m hugely excited about this merger,” he said. “Resolution’s current writing team is exceptional - and I’m confident that with joined forces we can deliver some really special, unique content.”

The two websites will come together under the BeefJack name. Current Resolution editor Jennifer Allen will become deputy editor of BeefJack.

BeefJack’s editorial speciality is in the reporting of gaming news, but the website also publishes regular reviews, previews and features. It also includes a social network for gamers, as well as the opportunity to play Flash games online, and a store where members can trade site points for the latest and greatest major releases.

Resolution Magazine has become a renowned source of interesting and offbeat articles about games and gaming culture, and Jennifer Allen will be ensuring that these are still present after the merger with BeefJack.
