Battle Defenders

Multiplayer tower defence playable for free on Facebook.

YOKOHAMA CITY, Japan - Jan. 13, 2010

Dango Inc, a top provider of game development technology, today announced the launch of multiplayer tower defense game Battle Defenders on Facebook Platform. Players can join Battle Defenders to challenge their closest friends or take on others from around the globe in orc-vs-human team combat, putting their tactical skills to the test by invading opposing turfs while protecting their own.

“With Battle Defenders, we wanted to provide players with a multiplayer title that really tested their strategic abilities,” said Hiroaki Ishibashi, Founder of Dango Inc. “What better way to do that then by pitting them against all the other talented gamers on Facebook Platform?”

Fights in Battle Defenders are divided into offensive and defensive rounds. As a defender, players are tasked with setting up units and barriers to repel the invading team. Successfully keeping the opposing force at bay nets players with coins for every enemy defeated and ensures they’ll survive long enough to counter-attack.

During the offensive round, players are given the opportunity to swiftly devise an attack plan and send a hand-picked group of units to the front lines. As the group navigates the fiendish gauntlet the opponent has built, players are rewarded for the damage they do. If they get enough units through to the enemy flag, they win the fight!

Battle Defenders is now available to play for free on Facebook Platform. To give the game a try, head to http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=113693073647
