BANG!

Samsung bada Developer Challenge-winning board game launches today.

Palzoun, the production company behind BANG!, the Spaghetti Western board game which is coming to Apple iPhone, iPad HD, iPod Touch, Atom Netbook and PC in the UK, Europe and the US this Christmas, has decided to launch its multicross-platform multiplayer feature in January in order to prepare for the new Samsung Wave S8500 & S8530 versions to join the multiplayer action.

BANG! recently won 1 st place in the Samsung bada Developer Challenge Game category with its Samsung Wave single player ‘Avant-premiere’ version. This version will allow players to join BANG!’s multicross-platform multiplayer experience with existing platforms and further expand the reach of the game.

Daniele Azara, Production Director of Italian production company Palzoun said, “Firstly, winning in our category has been a fantastic achievement in line with our ambitions to build the platform potential for BANG!. We’ve seen over 50,000 downloads so far of our Samsung Wave ‘Avant-premiere’ award winner, so we’re keen to ensure the Samsung bada platform works perfectly within all multicross multiplayer games, hence taking the decision to push back the multiplayer feature to January. However, we made a promise to BANG! fans for a Christmas release date, and will launch the entire game in English, bar the multiplayer features, at 50% off on all platforms from Tuesday 21 st December. We expected our BANG! fans across the world would be waiting for this and, at the time of going to press, we’ve seen BANG! go to No.1 on the Italian iTunes App store in the card category already!”

Giovanni Caturano, President and CEO of SpinVector, the Italian developer of BANG! said, “With the single player version being launched in December, players can really get to grips with this easy to play game during the Christmas break and get practicing for the multiplayer launch in January. The great thing is that if customers buy the game before the multicross-platform multiplayer event in January, they will automatically receive the upgrades for localisation and the multiplayer features absolutely free, no subscriptions at all, just fun gameplay!”

The prices of the Single player version throughout December will be USD* $1.99 for iPhone and iPod touch, $2.99 for iPad HD, $5.99 for PC and $4.99 for Atom Netbook (*equivalent value in Euro and GBP).

BANG! Single player will be available worldwide from Tuesday 21 st December 2010 via the iTunes AppStore, Intel AppUp (Atom Netbook) and direct from www.bangvideogame.com.

BANG! – GREG DIGGER

“If any man was born to dig holes, it’s Greg. From an early age, he helped his Father dig the graves in Dodge City and quickly gained a reputation for digging or jumping into holes on the first sign of trouble (which happened quite a lot in Dodge City!). He’s a canny operator, moving from town to town as a ‘freelance grave digger’, whilst at the same time quietly analysing the towns folk, their habits and their feuds. What is he looking for, what is his agenda? Maybe he’s waiting for something…All we know is he’s always there when trouble starts and he’s always making money digging the new graves!”
