BACK TO BACK EVENTS BRING NCSOFT TO THE MASSES

1,000 place LAN party and UK's largest ever Comic Expo will host massively multiplayer gaming events

Tuesday 8 November 2005/... NCsoft® Europe is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at i26, Multiplay UK's 1,000 place LAN party from 11-13th November, and at Comic Expo in Brighton just a week later, on 19th and 20th November. At both events, NCsoft will be giving attendees a chance to play current and future NCsoft releases, as well as giving away prizes, holding mini-tournaments and much more.

i26 is a three-day celebration of gaming, with a 1,000 place 'Bring Your Own Computer' LAN party as the centerpiece. NCsoft will be exhibiting the recently released City of Villains (running side-by-side with City of Heroes), Guild Wars® and next year's post-apocalyptic MMO, Auto Assault.

Guild Wars in particular will get prominence at i26, a natural setting for the PvP elements of the game. 500 unique demonstration keys will allow i26 attendees to explore the world of Guild Wars for 48 hours during the weekend, with prizes going to anyone managing to 'ascend' in that time!

In addition, the developers of Guild Wars, ArenaNet, will be facing off against i26 players in a European version of the popular 'Own the Devs' event held during E3 this May.

Comic Expo is set to debut in Brighton this November, as UK's largest comic book expo, with writers, artists and publishers attending from all over the world. With City of Villains and City of Heroes now being played all over Europe, Comic Expo is a natural fit for NCsoft.

Eight comic artists will be sketching on the NCsoft stand during the weekend, working straight from screen to recreate your hero (or villain!) on paper. These artists will be creating one-of-a-kind pieces for any attendee, providing they make a small donation for the comics charity project, Draw the World Together.

Attendees will also have the chance to play both comic book influenced titles City of Heroes and City of Villains in a dedicated games area, as well as Guild Wars and Auto Assault. Tournaments will be held throughout the weekend with prizes for the best players.

More information on all NCsoft's current and forthcoming titles, plus full details on NCsoft Europe's involvement at both these events can be found at the official European web sites:
