Babel named in Sunday Times Fast Track 100

Brighton-based games service company Babel Media has been named in this year's Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table, breaking into the prestigious ranking at number 78.

The listing is based on annual revenue growth from 2000 through to 2003, and Babel's recognition in the ranking is down to an impressive 74 per cent year on year growth figure in that period - with revenues rising to UKP 3.6 million by 2003.

The firm, which operates offices in San Diego and New Delhi as well as its Brighton headquarters, has also recently been placed in the Sunday Times' Tech Track 100 for 2004, rising 20 places to number 60, and in New Media Age's Top 100 Interactive Agencies ranking, at number 21.

"This has been a fantastic year for Babel," commented managing director Algy Williams, "and to be recognised as one of the UK's fastest growing private companies is excellent. It's all down to the talent and hard work of the people who work here. To say we're looking forward to 2005 would be the understatement of 2004."
