Babel Backs Winners of 2006

Based on the recent charts published by MCV, next-gen.biz and Mobile Entertainment, Babel is proud to announce that the company worked on many of the Best Selling Games of 2006 both in the US and Europe.

Babel worked on 50% of the Top 10 Best Selling PC & Console Games in Europe, 30% of the Top 12 Best Selling PC & Console Games in the US and 100% of the UK's Top Selling Mobile Games.

"Outsourcing is now integral to production of the world's best games", said Algy Williams, Babel's Managing Director. "And we're privileged to have contributed to such a high proportion of them. Our clients choose to work with us as they need a reliable partner who delivers quality on time."

Babel's international presence, scale and its ability to work across all platforms as well as in multiple languages has been a major factor in being chosen to work on the world's best selling titles. Babel's involvement covered all aspects of the company's work from functionality QA to translation, audio, localisation QA, DTP, mobile porting and certification. Each of Babel's four offices in UK, USA, Canada and Delhi had a part to play in the production of these chart topping games.

"Even though we work behind the scenes, it is enormously gratifying for everyone at Babel to see these titles at the top of the charts. We have seen considerable growth, not only in the range of the services we offer, but also in our client base in 2006", said Williams, "and we also appreciate the trust these clients put in us with their top titles."

Babel has facilities in Brighton, New Delhi, Los Angeles and Montreal, employing more than 150 full time staff backed up by over 350 contract QA testers, over 350 in-country translators and a global network of audio studios.
