Marie Dealessandri

Marie (she/her) initially joined GamesIndustry.biz in 2019 to head its Academy section. A journalist since 2012, she's explored a variety of roles in diverse industries (including her first love, film), countries (France, Canada, and now the UK), and media (radio, print, web), before realising writing about video games was a thing.

She found her home in games in 2016, initially at B2B magazines MCV and Develop. She can be found (rarely) tweeting/blueskying @mariedeal, usually on a loop about Baldur’s Gate and the Dead Cells soundtrack. GI resident Moomins expert.
