UK-based mobile entertainment firm I-play has today announced a partnership with Fox Mobile Entertainment, a new sub-division of Twentieth Century Fox, to develop, publish and distribute mobile content based on acclaimed television series 24.

Speaking at the Mobile Entertainment Market expo, Kristian Segerstrale VP of production at Glu Mobile discussed the challenges of developing mobile multiplayer games, an area at present, accounting for just a fraction of the overall mobile gaming market.

Delivering a keynote at MEM yesterday, Mike Yuen, gaming group director at Qualcomm, explained how innovative, cross-platform game design could lead to mass-market adoption of mobile gaming.
