Australia Charts: The Sims 2 reclaims pole position from Pokemon Fire Red

Electronic Arts' The Sims 2 has returned to the top of the Australian leisure software chart this week, displacing last week's number one Pokemon Fire Red, which drops a single place to number two.

Fire Red's stablemate, Pokemon Leaf Green, remains unmoved at number three, so the two titles are now sitting alongside each other just shy of the top of the table.

Activision's Rome: Total War goes up to number four this week, narrowly winning the battle of the RTS titles with another recent release - THQ's Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, which remains at number five.

Burnout 3 continues to sell strongly for EA down under, with the PS2 version up to number six this week, while Sony is still having success with EyeToy: Play at number seven and Athens 2004 at number eight.

Activision's Star Wars Battlefront also enters the top ten this week, although the title only comes in at number nine with its PS2 version - a decent performance, but not quite the chart-topping action which the game saw in the UK.
