The Austin Game Developers Conference has finalized its lineup to include several additional speakers
The Austin Game Developers Conference has finalised its lineup to include several additional speakers.
A Q&A session with former Shiny Entertainment president and founder Dave Perry has been added, to be moderated by GDC executive director Jamil Moledina.
Minho Kim, director of game operations at Nexon America, will present a session titled âComing to America: Nexonâs Micro-transaction Revolution.â Brian Schmidt, program manager for Xbox audio and media, will deliver a keynote address entitled "No More Excuses: Time for Great Game Audio."
In addition, Lee Sheldon, an assistant professor for Indiana University's Department of Telecommunications, will present a keynote titled âMagic, Madness and the Muse.â Sheldon has produced and written for television shows like Cagney and Lacey, Charlie's Angels, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
âWe are very proud of the feature speaker lineup,â said Jane Pinckard, Austin GDC's content manager. âOur esteemed speakers will contribute their experience and ideas to attendees in an intimate and open setting, in a way that promotes discussion."
Headlining this yearâs event are Mike Morhaime, president and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, Sulka Haro, lead Designer at Sulake Corporation, and Hiromichi Tanaka, executive officer with Square Enix.
The conference takes place September 5-7, 2007 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
