The Austin Game Conference, a development conference that focuses on the multiplayer, massively multiplayer and mobile markets, has announced that pavilions representing UK and Korean firms will be present at the event.

The UK pavilion will be organised by government agency UK Trade and Investment - who are also instrumental in the UK Pavilion at the E3 show - while the Korean presence comes courtesy of Korean government body iPark Silicon Valley.

"We are pleased to be part of this year's conference and to have the opportunity to meet with companies from Texas, elsewhere in the U.S.A. and beyond," according to UK Trade and Investment's Matthew Hobbs. "Encouraging two way trade and international business development in this industry sector is our key objective."

The two day conference, which runs on September 9th and 10th in Austin, Texas, will also have an Australian presence - with Australian developers BigWorld and Auran both set to exhibit at the event.

"The Austin Game Conference is clearly established as an important event for game developers and industry business professionals worldwide," said Christopher Sherman, executive director of event organisers The Game Initiative. "Our faculty of high calibre speakers and advanced conference agenda demonstrate our commitment to delivering an outstanding event that will foster real insights into the challenges facing the industry as well as opportunities for people to connect and generate growth."
