Legendo announces worldwide release dates of Attack on Pearl Harbor for the PC
GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN (May 4th, 2007) Swedish publisher Legendo Entertainment is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Attack on Pearl Harbor in co-operation with a variety of distributors across the globe.
Attack on Pearl Harbor is an arcade-style air combat game for the PC set in World War II's Pacific Theatre, releasing in the major markets during the 2nd quarter of 2007. More information can be found at the game's website: www.pearlharbor-game.com.
The key focus of the game is on playable, highly entertaining gameplay, with features including:
Finely Tuned Controls - "pick up and play" with little or no training, featuring a simple and straightforward control scheme.
Jaw-Dropping Visuals - widescreen gaming support coupled with numerous special effects provides a breath-taking rendition of the Pacific Theatre.
Fight on Either Side - play as "gunner-turned-pilot" Douglas Knox of the USAAF or fighter-pilot Zenji Yamada of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service.
Aircraft Carrier Action - take off from the deck of an aircraft carrier in the most prolific fighter, bomber and torpedo aircraft of the WWII Pacific Theatre!
Historically Themed Campaigns - fight it out in the battles that determined the outcome of the war, from Pearl Harbor to Iwo Jima!
Multiplayer Dogfights - via LAN or Internet
Attack on Pearl Harbor will be published and distributed in North America and Mexico by CDV towards the end of June. As for the game's European availability, UK sales and distribution will be handled by Ascaron Entertainment while the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be served by ATARI Deutschland. NOBILIS will be handling publishing activities in France and Belgium where the title will be released in May in parallel to the Nordic release of the game in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland - where such activities will be handled by SimBin Game 'n Gear. In addition, Russia and Ukraine will see the game published by local stalwart Akella.
