Atomhawk opens new studio, appoints new studio head

Concept art and design studio expands to London with Mat Hart at the helm

Design studio Atomhawk has opened a new London office and appointed Mat Hart, previously of Capcom and Ninja Theory, as the studio head.

"I am thrilled and proud to join the Atomhawk team and head up the new studio. In the past I have worked with some incredibly talented teams, such as Ninja Theory and Capcom Entertainment, and have long admired the quality and creativity Atomhawk consistently delivers," he said.

"A new studio in London will allow us to build upon the excellent range of services including concept art, UI/UX design and marketing artwork for games and film, as well as expanding further into other new exciting opportunities and creative spaces."

Hart was most recently senior project manager at printing company Moo.com, a role he held for two years, but his part in the games industry began in 2003 at LEGO Interactive.

Atomhawk offers concept art, marketing art, UI/UX design and motion graphics services to entertainment industries. Its recent work includes Mortal Kombat X and Killzone: Mercenary.
