Atlus U.S.A., Inc. Announces Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits!™ For The Game Boy® Advance

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - JULY 21, 2006 - Atlus U.S.A., Inc., a leading publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced the acquisition of the North American publishing rights to Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits!, an action game for the Game Boy Advance.
Fire Spirits! is based on the second season of the animated television series "Battle B-Daman" (which debuts on American television later this year), and is a sequel to the Battle B-Daman video game, to be published by Atlus USA on July 25, 2006.
"With Battle B-Daman scheduled to ship for the Game Boy Advance next week, it's the perfect time to announce the follow-up," said Mike Manzanares, Project Lead for Atlus USA. "Fire Spirits! does everything a video game sequel should do, building on the original Battle B-Daman with wacky new characters and great new gameplay elements."
Developed in Japan by Atlus Co., Ltd.., Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits! is scheduled for release in September 2006.
Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits! has been rated E10+ by the ESRB for Comic Mischief, Mild Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Suggestive Themes.

Now that he has become a B-Dachampion, Yamato Delgado has a new quest: to explore the B-Daworld, locate the legendary "Strike Shots," and use them to triumph in the Winners Tournament. During his journey, Yamato will encounter powerful opponents, B-Daman parts that he's never heard of, and a few familiar faces.
