LONDON, UK - 10 January 2008 - Atari today is pleased to announce its continued distribution in the UK with publisher Ignition Entertainment and the forthcoming UK release of George of the Jungle for PlayStation2, Nintendo Wii and DS, releasing this Easter. The game features a hilarious adventure through the jungle featuring all the favourite characters from the popular animated series.

George lives in and protects the jungle of Mbebwe, a wild playground packed with quirky creatures, vicious villains and wacky wilderness adventures. His jungle family includes his best buddy, an Ape named Ape, friends Ursula and Magnolia, his faithful dog Shep (actually an elephant) and Tookie Tookie Bird.
For these friends, everyday is a new adventure full of missteps, mayhem and monkey business - where there's always another tree to crash into!
George of the Jungle is one of Entertainment Rights Plc's most popular properties aimed at boys aged 6-11yrs. It is now broadcast daily on popular children's TV channel Nickelodeon at 7-7.30am & 8.30-9pm and is repeated on Nicktoons.
