Wizards of Waverly Place
Disney Channel show to become a DS game.
BURBANK, Calif. – (April 2 2009) – Disney Interactive Studios announced today the upcoming release of Wizards of Waverly Place on Nintendo DS™, a new video game based on the hit Disney Channel TV program. The game takes players on magical and humorous adventures with favourite characters from the show.
Wizards of Waverly Place allows fans to play as their favourite wizard-in-training, Alex Russo, who is played by rising star Selena Gomez on the show, casting magical spells and participating in mini-games to complete tasks and acquire new magic skills. Players can experience the lives of the Russo kids as they explore locations from the show, including the Waverly Sub Station, the Wizards Lair, Tribeca Prep, the Russo loft and many more. Wizards of Waverly Place is an adventure game that allows players to explore brand new storylines extending beyond the “Wizards of Waverly Place” television series
Also in the game are Alex’s brothers, Justin and Max, who are constantly helping to keep Alex out of trouble. Alex always creates mischievous fun wherever she goes, and casting magic is a great way to experience her adventures. Additionally, players can customise Alex’s wardrobe by unlocking accessories and outfits true to her style.
