Music Catch
Noteworthy news of an iPhone version of Reflexive's web game.
Lake Forest, CA - June 21, 2009 - A year ago, Reflexive ( www.reflexive-inc.com) quietly released a new web game called Music Catch on www.reflexive.com. It immediately became an Internet sensation, rising to the top of many web game sites and garnering millions of plays within a couple weeks. This simple and soothing musical game struck a chord with gamers around the world.
Since then, Reflexive has released a download version of their shape-collecting hit game for the PC and Mac, and more recently they released Music Catch 2, the highly popular sequel to the original web game version. Building on the success of previous versions, Reflexive is now proud to offer Music Catch for your iPhone and iPod Touch.
"When we first created Music Catch as a web game, it was clear that this type of game would be perfect for the iPhone. It's so cool to be able to collect the shapes with your fingers. It's just so intuitive, and it's a bunch of fun, not to mention very portable," said game designer and musician Isaac Shepard. "We're excited to finally be able to bring Music Catch to its natural platform."
Music Catch for the iPhone includes four songs: Before Dawn, the song from the original game that became a phenomenon, as well as Leaves in the Wind, Gentle, and Letting Go, other wildly popular songs from Music Catch 2. A new unique feature made possible by the platform is the ability to play with two fingers at once.
Links to download all versions of Music Catch can be found at www.musiccatchgame.com. Music Catch for the iPhone is currently available for only $0.99 on iTunes.
