Genshin Impact's mobile consumer revenue has amassed over $3bn to date

Report also says that on average, Mihoyo's RPG has made $1bn every six months since launch

MiHoYo's RPG Genshin Impact has to date, generated more than $3 billion globally in consumer spending across both Google Play and the App Store.

According to a new report from Sensor Tower, the title has on average, made $1 billion every six months since launching on mobile devices since its 2020 release.

The report also broke down lifetime consumer spending for the title by country.

China ranked as number one as it earned 30.7% of worldwide player spending, Japan was second at 23.7%, and the US came in third as it accounted for 19.7% of its consumer revenue.

The analyst firm also went on to say that Genshin Impact was the top player earning title worldwide during the period of Q1 2022.

Additionally, the report noted that the game continues to see an active player base.

During the period of Q1 2022, Sensor Tower says the game has seen its monthly active users increase by 44% year-over-year.
