FIFA dominates as Sega games flood the chart | UK Digital Charts
Sega celebrates its 60th birthday with digital discounts
FIFA 21 is once again the biggest digital game in the UK last week.
The latest GSD data shows that FIFA 21's download figures dropped 84% week-on-week, which is a heavier fall than what the game did at physical retail. Indeed, the game sold slightly better at retail stores in the game's second week than it did as a download. Overall, however, FIFA 21's sales remain predominantly digital.
Elsewhere, Sega has been celebrating its 60th birthday with a number or price promotions on its games. As a result, five of the top ten are from the publisher, including Dawn of War III at No.4, Company of Heroes 2 at No.5, Yakuza 0 at No.7, Sonic The Hedgehog at No.9 and Sonic and Knuckles at No.10. In fact, the rest of the chart is awash with Sega games, from Toejam and Earl to Phantasy Star, Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine to Wonder Boy In Monster World.
Other notable titles in the charts is continued success for Assassin's Creed games after some price activity, with Odyssey at No.2 and Origins at No.8. Meanwhile, Star Wars: Squadrons continues to hang around in sixth place, dropping from No.2.
