Microsoft slashes $100 off Xbox One X for Black Friday
And players can now get Game Pass for £1/$1 for the first month
Microsoft will knock $100 off the price of Xbox One X over Black Friday.
The company says it will be offering a series of aggressive price discounting over the sales weekend, including an X for $399. The company also plans to discount its big 2018 games including State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4.
The company has also detailed a new Xbox Game Pass deal, with customers able to join the service for $1/£1 for the first month. Microsoft announced a further 12 games will be joining Game Pass over the next two months, including PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Thief of Thieves, Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3, Thomas Was Alone, Ori and the Blind Forest, Kingdom Two Crowns and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Other indie games set to join Xbox Game Pass over the coming weeks include Aftercharge, Supermarket Shriek, Mutant Year Zero, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, and Secret Neighbor.
Microsoft is also debuting the Xbox Game Pass app globally from today, which is designed to make Game Pass games easier to discover.
The announcements were part of Microsoft's X018 event in Mexico, which also included news of two new studio acquisitions - Obsidian and InXile.
