First in-game screenshot available for your scrutiny.

Bohemia Interactive Studio, the developer of the critically acclaimed, highly realistic military simulations ArmA: Armed Assault and Operation Flashpoint*, announce the release of the first genuine ArmA 2 in-game screenshot.

We guarantee and take pride in the fact that the screenshots are not processed in any way that would make them look better than in the actual gameplay. Established in 1999 in Prague, Czech Republic, Bohemia Interactive is an independent game development studio that focuses on developing original state of the art computer entertainment and simulation software including the research of proprietary advanced real time 3D graphics, artificial intelligence and physical simulation technologies for real-time interactive environments.

In 2001, Bohemia Interactive finished the development of Operation Flashpoint. The debut game, published by Codemasters, became the No. 1 bestselling PC game around the world and has won many international awards including Game of The Year and Best Action Game.

Over 1.7 million copies of Operation Flashpoint have been sold since its release. In December 2001, Bohemia Interactive newly formed Australian studio started development of the special military training simulation program VBS1 in cooperation with U.S. based Coalescent Technologies.

The research and development team of Bohemia Interactive has more than 40 experienced developers at studios in the Czech Republic and Australia. Bohemia Interactive won the Best PC Game Developer of the year 2001 award at London’s ECTS exhibition and Rookie Studio of the Year award at GDC 2002.

VBS1 (Virtual Battlefield System) is used by United States Marine Corps, Australian Army, United States National Guard, United States Secret Services and many others.
