Milkman Games, LLC announces the release of Aqualux, an action puzzle game in which players rearrange a board of pipes to guide a flow of Aqua from a tap to a drain. Aqualux blends classic arcade themes with modern puzzler and board game mechanics in a colorful, whimsical environment. The game is entered in the 2010 Independent Games Festival.

San Francisco, CA, December 21, 2009 – Milkman Games, LLC announces the action puzzle game Aqualux is available and ready to download at aqualuxgame.com.

Aqualux is an action puzzle game where players swap, twist, and teleport a flow of goo over 100 brain-challenging layouts of colorful tubes.

Alex Liebert, developer of the game, said “Remember playing those slider puzzles where you rearrange tiles on a board to form a picture? Aqualux combines that with the 'build a network of pipes while racing the clock' theme.” A 'relaxed' mode is also available in which time is unlimited.

“Portals, frozen pipes, twist-able pipes, and enchanted pipes (that are rotated by flowing through special gates) are added to the mix later on, adding new excitement and challenge to the game as players progress through the puzzles.” An online level builder allows creative users to construct their own levels, which are then available to everyone through the game's Levels of the Day feature. “People who love tinkering with gadgets are having a great time building their own levels; and players keep coming back every day to fresh content, even after they've finished the campaign. We're planning to integrate even deeper user-generated content features into social networks early next year,” says Liebert.

Aqualux features 100 levels, unlock-able trophies and secret game modes, and rich, colorful graphics. Passing through rolling starlit hills, sunny skies, frozen tundras, and even outer space, players solve unique logic puzzles while unlocking hidden bonuses and awards. The game is free of violence and features Relaxed, Casual, and Hardcore difficulty modes that deliver challenge to casual players and puzzle veterans alike.
