July 22, 2008 - Codeminion released a cinematic video trailer for their major casual title - Ancient Quest of Saqqarah.
Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is a game that tries to surpass the crowded casual market with its quality, atmosphere and scope. The video trailer that the developers have shown on the game's website - www.saqqarahthegame.com - seems to prove that with its intense action, cinematic feel and the voice of Michael McConnohie - actor known from such games as Diablo 2, World of Warcraft or the Ancient Quest of Saqqarah itself.
"With Saqqarah we wanted to reach broader audience than your stereotypical casual soccer moms. We wanted to show more hardcore players that a good casual game can be as exciting, varied and lengthy as retail titles are" explains Konrad Olesiewicz - game producer and Codeminion co-owner.
Saqqarah is a large and varied puzzle game with seven different types of game play and over 500 levels. With its depth, outstanding audiovisual quality and fun it gives to the players, it was very well received by both: gamers and casual gaming press.
