Mastertronic and dtp young today announced the release of America’s Next Top Model on the Nintendo DS and Wii.
As the fifteenth series of America's Next Top Model hits our TV screens, Mastertronic and dtp young bring the hugely popular series to Wii and DS! You play an aspiring model competing for the ultimate prize – to withstand the 10 week contest and become America’s next top model. Following the same successful formula as the TV series, one model is dismissed each week following a special challenge; just make sure it's not you! Choose your outfits in a variety of ways to live out the model lifestyle; be it striking a pose for a photographer, keeping your walk timed perfectly on the catwalk, or making sure your makeup is a match for the occasion. Talk to the other models in the apartment and get tips from your coach to improve your performance in each task, then your knowledge of the fashion industry will be put to the test each week by the panel. Players compete in various categories to secure their place in the next round, including 'Make Up', 'Fashion', 'Catwalk' and 'Photoshoot'.
The America’s Next Top Model game features addictive real-time game play, a variety of fun mini games, and interactive story elements, which depend on the relationships with the other contestants, the main character’s boyfriend, and the jurors.
The America’s Next Top Model show was created and is hosted by talk-show host and model Tyra Banks, who also serves as the head judge and executive producer of the show. The first series premiered in May 2003 and was one of UPN’s highest rated shows. The show's seventh series was the first of the shows among regular programming on UPN's successor network, The CW, and thus far is the network's highest rated series. America’s Next Top Model currently airs on TV internationally in 170 countries and regions, with over 3 million viewers worldwide. America’s Next Top Model’s popularity has had considerable influence in popular culture, as well as launched the ANTM franchise and the release of a clothing and accessories line.
