Alten8 announces new product range
Worldwide distribution secured for one-button gaming titles
Alten8 has announced the signing of a new worldwide, exclusive distribution deal with developer group Mayhem Project to bring a series of one-button mobile games to market over the coming months.
The first title to be released under the terms of the agreement will be Moony and the Valley of the Gems, a colourful, cartoon-styled casual game that places players in the role of Moony the dragon, and tasks them with collecting powerful gems as they negotiate perilous caverns filled with obstacles and a range of fiendish enemies.
Designed to appeal to a broad age range and attract gamers from the casual games market, Moony and the Valley of the Gems will be available for a wide selection of handsets and translated into several languages.
"Alten8 is pleased to be extended further its growing portfolio of exclusive games for phones, PC , and console formats. As well as our range of phone games with more involved, in-depth game play such as Oracle and Opals Quest, we are pleased to extend our casual games range with quality titles such as Moony and the Valley Of The Gems. We look forward to working with the Mayhem Project team to distribute further releases in the future," a company representative stated.
The company will be announcing the other titles in the series, which currently includes four games, in the coming weeks.
